  5. There is a better way to reset your windows 7 password. First, get a recovery disk with Windows PE. then When you are booted into the Recovery Disk Press Shift+F10. After that a command window will come up. Enter in "move C:\Windows\System32\utilman.exe C:\windows\system32\utilman.exe.bak" without quotes. then enter "copy C:\windows\System32\cmd.exe C:\Windows\System32\utilman.exe" without the quotes. Boot back into Windows. On the bottom in the Corner. Press the Button. The little blue button in the Left hand Corner. A command windows will come up. type in "net user username newpassword" replace username with your Account Name and newpassword with Your New Password. Login to the Computer.

  6. Agreed ! I start laptop in safe mode with command and it dosent pop up and I don't know my password cuz girl friend got pissed and changed it on me and doesn't remember it her self!
